Braided Pig Tails

I was determinted to get a shot of her and her braided pig tails, but I am pretty sure she was determined not to let me.  :)  Love her!

Here she is another day learning to swim and blow bubbles!

Here is another shot I found of her while going through pictures of the last month or so.  Please ignore that she is wearing the same shirt from above.  She must really like it!  ;)

Changes

She learned to crawl, clap and got her first teeney tiny tooth all in the same week.  She is already 10+ months old.  Lovin' this little girl!  This is from a week or so ago when we were trying out some local fishing.  ;)

J giving me some smiles.

Somehow I neglected to post these.  I love this kid!  He has been saying the funniest things lately!  I journal once a week the old fashioned way (in a notebook with a pen).  I hope I am recording all of his funny conversations!

I don't know why he thought it was too bright.  It was a partly cloudy day and he was in the shade, but this is how most of the shots looked.  He was trying so hard though.  He definitely got and "A" for effort!

Mine On Monday {M.O.M.}

I love taking pictures but nothing makes me happier than taking them of my own children.  We had our last soccer game.  Both boys had great coaches and fun was had by all.  The last game was really crumby weather, but they braved it in jackets, hats and gloves!  "C" loved being a part of the "Flaming Ketchup".  He even made a goal.

"J" loved to be goalie.  You could often find him moving the cones towards him to close down the size of the goal.  It was actually pretty funny (although I am sure the other team didn't appreciate it).  His favorite part though was climbing on his coaches back  (the poor coach)!

The story behind this photo is more sentimental than the photo itself.  "J" saw this train and begged to have his picture taken.  But it was in a spot where I felt I was trespassing and he just couldn't open his eyes.  He tried so hard....it was apparently too bright.  Love the kid for asking though.  He told me we can go back another day when it is not so bright.  ;)

Isn't little "S" adorable?!!

We went out several days ago and caught a couple adorable expressions.  I hope you love 'em!

Mine on Monday {M.O.M}

It is *almost* Monday.  I can't believe this little girl is officially 9 months.  She has already been outside in the world longer than I was pregnant with her.  That is incredibly hard for me to believe.  We love her so much!

Mine On Monday {M.O.M.}

I was experimenting in all of these shots.  That will probably be obvious because of the clothing.  ;)  This is how we dress everyday.  Why squash a 3 year-olds idea of matching?  Or tell the 4 year-old he can't wear read one more day in a row.

Hummmm...it wasn't going very well at this point.  :)  The rock, the extra little bodies in the back.  :)

Every once in a while I get a real smile from this kid and I love it!
Oh boy...all four at once.  I insisted...."Smile!"
I really want some photos with my kids and blooming fruit blossoms.  I missed the opportunity this spring but we were at my in-laws this weekend and couldn't resist snapping this shoot.  Again, the kids weren't dressed for a real photoshoot, but I still love it.

Mine On Monday {M.O.M.} Cookin'

I don't get many shots of him anyomre since he is in school all day. It is kind of sad actually. I took this today as he was helping me make the Family Home Evening treat.  I am so glad we have him in our family.

Upon Reflection

I don't normally share too much about my religious and spiritiual beliefs on this blog. But I want to today. I know these things are true and I am so blessed by following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

It'll make ya really happy...and really sad

If this doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will.
I adore this little girl.

But look how sad she can also make you...

Prom

Teenagers are fun.  It is fun to be around them and their energy (yet I don't ever want to back to highschool and dating!!!).  This was a really quick shoot but I hope you enjoy!  Hard to pick a favorite.

Didn't get the images I was dreaming of but I still love my girls!

The darn weeds didn't love my girls. Everytime they got near them, they started to cry. I should have tried shooting in some grass to see if they were allergic to the weeds or the camera. :)

Purple flowers (okay, weeds)

Two years ago when I first got my camera, I went to this exact spot and took some pictures.  For the life of me I can't find them.  I would love to compare the images and my growth as a photographer.

I had a few minutes (litterally).  I hope to go back soon when the lighting is a little better.

My kids {M.O.M.}

I snapped this of my kids the other night with my point and shoot camera. The quality isn't that great (not to mention they are in in their PJ's), but how can I resist posting with the smiles I got from each of them.

Saying Goodbye {Caldwell, Idaho Family Photographer}

My sister said goodbye to her in-laws a few weeks ago.  They are moving across the country.  She wanted to get a couple shots with them, some of her own family  and some personal portraits.

It was a lot of fun.  I have never shot an entire memory card of photos in one shoot.  I did this time and boy has it taken a while to edit.  So many great shots to choose from.  Look how beautiful my sister is!

It was so hard to choose which ones to post.

If you haven't had your portrait taken in a while, you should contact me.  This was a lot of fun!
